I had one years ago. It was red and I found new amber lenses at an auto parts store. Paid mor for the new lenses then the light. Found at a garage sale. Unsure what happened to it.

It is interesting that they used what look like off-the-shelf magnetic cabinet latches underneath with simple L-brackets. No sense re-inventing the wheel when they could existing inexpensive and readily available parts.

The Glo-Brite came in the mail today. Interesting little device. The flasher is in a cardboard tube housing and has to warm up for a few seconds before the light comes on and starts to flash. The bulb is an 1141. It's not very bright but I think it is poor positioning of the bulb compared to the focal point of the lens. Not sure it can be adjusted yet. Will fully disassemble and clean it up and see what i can do with it.

Hey, here is something cool I just found. Inside, engraved on the magnet base is the word "Pocahontas" and on another "K. E. F.". There seems to be several Pocahontas police depts around the country. I bought this from a guy in Sorento, Illinois, and that is about 13 miles north of Pocahontas, Illinois. So I know part of it's history.

Well I was looking at this picture above and notices writing on the base so I looked again. It was inscribed "Kenney File". So I did some research and found my lights previous owner.
