Man I want this so bad..... so your telling me it's capable of doing what the more modern Digital scanners do correct like it will pick up any digital channel they get to.

Will not do Phase 2 trunking or P25 systems that use 9600 baud (so just about any 800mhz system that is P25) and does not support rebanding . Its one of the first digital scanners

I would research what type of system your department has through radio reference.com and if it does. This is an early model so anything new won't be able to be covered

It looks as if Buffalo uses the P25 project. I had mine set to my local who had the same set up.

I searched, but I do not believe at the least they would be on a radio system this would pick up likewise anyone to pick up. I could not find a database for them.
