Uncle Richard will be missed dearly. He was a funny, kind, intelligent soft-spoken man of great integrity and strength. His love and dedication to the fire service was second only to the love and devotion to his family. Every piece of apparatus, vintage or current, that sports a Roto Ray will serve as a tribute to a man who believed that even old ideas, like the Roto Ray, were worth perpetuating if it enhanced the safety of those who answer the call.
