Question: What is the life expectancy of a rocker panel light with the New England Salt/corrosion factor?

Do the product warranties cover salt corrosion?

thanks!

If you ask me they wouldn't be much use after they get covered in salt after the first snowfall. Cloudy lenses on a rooftop lightbar after it's been in service for a decade is one thing, but getting covered in road salt and grime like that seems like it would immediately cloud the lenses and ruin their effectiveness. If you really must use them, be prepared to have to clean them thoroughly once every few days. Otherwise, your money is better spent elsewhere.

external lightheads in general in the Northeast (not just New England) have a generally low life expectancy if the vehicle is not washed thoroughly every few days. Even just rinsing the vehicle will extend the life of all of your lights(and the vehicle) On average I'd say that they'll last until just after the Mnf warranty expires
