Rocket-X Amp Draw

Hi there folks! I have a TIR4 8-head RocketX bar. I'm looking to hardwire it, and the paperwork says it draws 8 amps. Could this be correct? Seems unlikely that a LED deck bar would draw was much as a rotator mini-bar. I have no tools to measure the draw, does anyone know the actual amount? Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest fusing at 5 amps.
