Hey guys,

Question for some of the pro installers.

I purchased a couple TIR3s and had two left over so I drilled some wholes and mounted them on the running boards of my explorer. Ive seen it on alot of trucks on here and it looks good.

My only question is what id the best way to wire. I will be wiring them to a Brookings switch box, in my console.

I think the best bet would be to drill in the floor underneath the carpetng and run the wires that way.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

I'd run the wires to the front and through the firewall. I've never been a fan of the idea of drilling holes in the floor. If you do make sure you seal it up extremely well...

If I recall there should be some grommets under the door sill on both sides. You should be able to run through there, back seal with sealant and run under the plastic sills to the switchbox.
