I am needing some advice, being I have a 2014 Whelen Liberty Lightbar and wanted to know if I need a WeCan System I/O Board in order for the scan lock function to work, have everything all wired up correctly. Please advise and let me know.

What is the model of your Liberty? There should be a label on the underside of the Liberty listing the model number, serial number, length, and date of manufacture.

Good evening, enclosed is a picture of the model and information which is on the bottom of my lightbar. Hopefully, this will help, because as far as the wiring goes per the instructions I have from Whelen it indicates it's a Philadelphia lightbar.

Yours is an SX series Liberty, not a WeCan Liberty. This means you should have a low-current control board, not a WeCan control board.

To use the Scan-Lock function, first activate one pair of lightheads by supplying +12v DC to the appropriate trigger wire, and then momentarily touch the Scan-Lock wire to +12v DC to advance to the next pattern.
