Any recommendation for bright white LED lights (preferably Whelen) that can be installed in an opening in the lower area of a PIU grill. Basically takedown lights for an unmarked unit.

I put Ions in that opening, you could fit 4 if necessary. If your primary concern is takedowns, I probably wouldn’t recommend them. Ions have a tech built into them that after a few seconds of being on steady, they dim down a bit. Its a feature built in to avoid overheating. They work though, I actually have some Ions that are on my daily driver that I use as fog lights. As far as white lighting, Im really not impressed with anything Whelen. The Pioneer series is pretty bright, but they are bulky and overpriced. This is coming from a Whelen master distributor. Hopefully someone else can chime in with a better light that fits there.
