I see the Topic section about your own installs but I would like to see those here lucky enough to have vintage cars and/or old/modern replicas that they cherish and love, wether underway or completed. :D

WE WANNA SEE THEM!!

My 1990 Chevrolet Caprice:

ai177.photobucket.com_albums_w231_cpd1212_1990_20Caprice_100_3254.jpg

This is a genuine 9c1 package car that has been restored to represent a Chicago PD district car. It is equipped with a genuine CPD Whelen Edge lightbar, a Whelen headlight flasher, and a Whelen siren/controller.

My 1969 Plymouth Fury:

ai177.photobucket.com_albums_w231_cpd1212_1969_20Fury_DSC00986.jpg

This car started life as a 1969 Fury III and was trimmed down to represent a Fury I as it would have been in service with the Chicago PD. The rear valence was welded up so a set of Fury I taillights would fit. This car has a Federal P280 Pulsator under the hood restored by John Dorgan in addition to the Model 14 Beacon Ray on the roof. A heavy duty flasher flashes the headlights. (Image Courtesy of Tom Sheehy as I do not have a good picture uploaded)

My old 1977 Dodge Monaco:

[Broken External Image]:http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w231/cpd1212/100_2009.jpg

This is a genuine package car and was restored to how it was while in service with the Illinois State Police. It was originally in service with the ISP and has been sold to the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation and is currently on display in Springfield, IL in their museum.

I'm torturing myself as I could buy RIGHT NOW a 1990 caprice and make it my replica project but I don't have the room for it. I could rent a garage, yes, but that's $$$$$......

Here's my 1987 Dodge Diplomat. Genuine police package, believed to be ex-US military police in Germany.

Was repainted in colours of 14th Precinct as in 1995 film "the usual suspects". Enjoy...

Here is my 1987 Chevrolet D30 M1028 Military pickup, same as the ambulance I posted but the pickup. I moved the Federal Signal AeroDynic from my Ambulance over to the pickup. Trying to make the lightbar on it correct for the year of the truck, but the military mostly used MARS Spectra bars, but they are impossible to find. They did use Federal Signal bars on some of the blazer for the MP for what I have seen. So I think the AeroDynic is a good choice for a lightbar.

Yeah if they are not too much, I will send you a PM.

I already have an amber and clear dome for them. If you recall on the old board I got them from a guy in Milwaukee when I was up there on vacation.

I don't really have the time/space for it anymore, but here's my '87 Fury - I was going to make a NYPD clone out of it. It IS an AHB car that was originally a Dayton, OH PD car. I haven't worked on it in over a year & its' sitting out in the weeds... :?

This is a couple weeks after I got it in '07 before I moved it:

I drive by an old brush pumper every day on my way to work sitting out behind an old, beat up mobile home. Short enough to fit in my driveway... hummm.. This thread makes me realize I need to knock on the door and ask how much they'll let it go for ;) .

Thanks! Make some room for it!!! It really is a great car- I just found a PHENOMENAL deal on a 76 Gran Fury that is a true Police Package. I will miss the Coronet- but if I don't get rid of it, I'll have to find a new wife.

This is my 1970 Mack CF/1988 4 Guys refurb 1000gpm/750gal

I got this in April 2010. So far I have replaced the front ancient strobe pack with a newer one I had laying around. I replaced the alternating flasher for the front red lights, rewired the drivers side Aerodynic mini bar(wasn't working when I bought the Mack), I had to take apart the Whelen rotator on the officer side rear(a screw came out and was lodged under the rotator), replaced a switch for the rear spot lights and installed a Power Call siren(still need a speaker though).

Some work that needs done: Get the cab spotlights working, install Per Lux driving lights, add side intersection strobes(900 series), remove rear Quartz lights and replace with a differant style, candy stripe the light bars.
