I finished up my Signal Stat Dual Comm lightbar project a couple days ago.  the bar was in near NOS condition outside of having a broken endcap and missing the rotators along with an original speaker housing cover.  the lenses are in near NOS condition too, but have several scuffs and scratches.  I haven't decided whether i will wet sand them or not and will leave them as is for now.

A big thank you goes out to Ed (member Maxim2Eng), who supplied me with a matching rotator that i needed and Matt (member Mattdecker), who supplied me with an original speaker housing cover and an endcap to help me complete the project.

I'm not a large fan of the Dual Comms, but it brings back memories of the Dual Comm lightbars we had on our squads while i was stationed as an MP at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO back in 78-79.

Member Maxim2Eng requested that i post some pictures of the bar and promised i would when it was done.

Like others, I was never a fan of Dual-Comms either, mostly because in their day, anything that wasn't a Twin was a knock-off, in my opinion (back then). But, the Dual-Comms were their own design, not a knock-off, and yours looks really sweet!

Great looking bar! I love seeing Dual comm lightbars. They are hard to find and usually not in good condition. Ken you do nice work on your bars. Keep up the good work. Thank you for posting this.

I'm a big fan of all big and bulky flying brick lightbars!  very nice restoration, it's a beautiful lightbar.

Outstanding job, and not a big fan of them.  But good job on saving it from the junkman.
