I liked when Chris had us downstairs to all see the lightbar, he showed it to us in comparison to the standard Liberty. We all squinted and commented on how much brighter it was...

Then he turned it off low power mode.

Wow does this thing get bright!

6 LEDs is what I saw.

The 9 LED modules seem to be for the original style Liberty.

The corners are still 12 LED, and I checked again that the inboards are 6 LED.

One of the other comments that everyone else has made, including customers that have come into the showroom, is that the bar is much cleaner looking than the old Liberty. Like the Legacy, all you see is the reflective surface behind the lenses. No more black housings or gaps, just a very clean and finished look.

I think the fast that you can put colored filters inside will be popular with some departments, at least in the corners. It shows that it is a police lightbar when it is off, otherwise it just looks like a shinny thing on the roof.

I'm not sure the big deal about the colored filters. The older liberties had colored lens options. Is it because the newere bar can't do colored lenses because of it's construction?
