I apologize in advance if this question has been asked already however I have not been able to find any sort of documentation regarding it.
A vehicle in my department is outfitted with a Smart Siren Platinum and for some unknown reason whenever you try to operate the siren with the lights activated there is a delay between the time the button is pushed and actual siren activation, in addition we also experience this issue when turning the siren tone off. Now if we activate the siren with the lights off ( We did this as a test) there is no delay whatsoever.
Has anyone here experienced this issue or one similar and if so, what could be done to remedy it as it is becoming a bit of a nuisance.
Not sure if it matters but the the light bar on the vehicle is an SLR however I cant Imagine it is associated with that because we have a second vehicle with an identical setup and do not experience any delays with the sirens.
