Smart Siren SS2000ss - Low siren tone

The siren tone volume is very low on the speaker when i turn it on. I tried a replacement speaker with the unit, and there is no change. i can hear the tones from the control box when i disconnect the speaker. I also verified both speakers are working on a different siren.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

Update,
Spent a few hours yesterday troubleshooting the issue and the siren tone is now working. The ground wire was loose so i crimped a new end and the siren started working at full volume, but was cutting out for some reason. After checking some ore I noticed there was a small cut on the speaker wire. Once that was fixed, all is good.
