Smith & Wesson / EEC 8884 in GREEN!

This project has been a long work in progress. I wasn't passionate about it, but knew I had to save the green. The bar was ROUGH. It is not a hodge podge of correct parts from several donor bars. It was heavily "modified" to include some stupid wolo airhorns and their compressor instead of a speaker. Several rotators were broken. It was missing an endcap and of course dirty as hell. Some may remember my teaser photo in the "green light" thread with Walter from a few months ago. I included the photo again for his fans.


Sorry the video only shows the rotators on. My phone corrupted the file with it all on and I tucked it back away before I realized it...

Thanks for sharing those pictures! I've been working on one for a while now, and it's working out well other than it's missing alley lights. I've had a hard time even finding a picture of one until now. Would you have any idea where one might find one or two of those things?

I have a parts bar that still has the alley light mounts if that's you need. PM me with what you need and I'll get you photos

Sorry, yes, the mounts are missing. Power leads are present and the alley light cutouts in the domes are there. The bar is overall in pretty good shape, everything works fine and ready to detail. It's property marked City of Moultrie, Georgia. I picked it up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and hauled it back here to Leavenworth County, Kansas.

I see a flasher module in there.. was that for flashing the take downs, or was there amber lights in the back?

I liked these S&W bars. My old department used them until they upgraded to the Edge 9000s in the 80s. Even after that, they still saw use on some of the jail transport vehicles up until about 2001-2003ish.

The rear lights flash. No cut outs in the dome though, so one is green and one is amber.
