That is a very odd 'lightbar' on the Jeep. How effective are those LIN6's with all the fog lights on?

The Explorer looks good, very clean, but I think it could use some white in the front...IMO

I Love it, I'm browsing threads while at work and all over a sudden i'm like "HEY! I know that truck!" James man you really did do a killer install on my truck man, for those who care I do have a thread on the explorer on here. viewtopic.php?f=39&t=35 The vertexs look awsome in the housings. The split ones in the back also came out well. There are flashing takedowns in the inner edge however my dept doesn't alow us to run white in front. Other wise I would have had the split white blues up front and the blue only in the reverse lights.

In NY Vol FD also can only run Blue but most Chiefs dont bother the members if you have white in the front as long as you dont have red . PD wont give them a hard time either.

It only takes one dumb person to run illegal lighting and ruin it for everyone...

From what I've heard about the laws there, not only can you not have white, but you can only have one blue rotating light mounted on the dashboard. [citation needed]

EDIT:

One blue light may be affixed to any motor vehicle owned by a volunteer member of a fire department or on a motor vehicle owned by a member of such person's family residing in the same household or by a business enterprise in which such person has a proprietary interest or by which he or she is employed, provided such volunteer firefighter has been authorized in writing to so affix a blue light by the chief of the fire department or company of which he or she is a member, which authorization shall be subject to revocation at any time by the chief who issued the same or his or her successor in office. Such blue light may be displayed exclusively by such volunteer firefighter on such a vehicle only when engaged in an emergency operation.

I know the law. I am not a VF but if your house was burning down I think you would want the FD to get there fast. It depends on the Chief. Most dept's in NY allow the Volunteers to have Blue or Blue White and as many lights as you want. Remember the FD Station is not manned. It can take some time for the bluelighter to get the the Fire House pick up the truck and respond to the fire. In NJ it looks like they allow B/W and an air horn not sure why NY they dont. Im not a FF but we all know every second counts in a fire to save a life and property.
