Staff members have been hard at work adding and correcting prefixes that got set to default in the software upgrade, or were omitted by users.  If you see notice that your post was edited that just means a prefix was added.  That feature was changed so a prefix change shouldn't show up as an edit now.  Also, so we don't all make tinfoil hats at once, the new software saves a record of all edits to posts that can be pulled on request.  That includes my edits.  Sorry for the confusion.
