SoundOff EPL9000?

Hey all,

I've been researching different options for exterior lightbars. The SoundOff EPL9000 seems like a decent bar, and I know our local BLM Ranger has one and it looks sharp.

The one thing I am confused about is the wiring setup. I watched the "Sirennet Television" and he spoke about an external box where all the wiring harness is connected to. I currently have a Carson SC-409 Commander, and the other vehicle this would be going into has a Fed. Sig. Interceptor 400. Will these controllers work out of the box with the SoundOff, or do you need to purchase a SoundOff light/sirenhead for this bar?

$1200 seems like a decent price for a factory new, fully populated 48" exterior lightbar.

Thanks,

TD

What the "external box" means is that coming out of the bar you only run a + & - ... and then a serial cable that goes to that box. Everything splits off from there... rather than running a dozen different wires out of the bar.
