I'm trying to wire in a Sound off headlight flasher on a 96 F350, and I'm needing help. Used flasher, no directions, wired it in the same way as another SO flasher, but this one just illuminates both high beams...no alternating flash

Model #etrr00bk

Here's how I have it wired..

Red: toggle switch
White: Permanent positive
Green: ground
Yellow: pass side highbeam
Blue: Other side of cut wire that originally fed passenger highbeam
Black: nothing

Any ideas??
Maybe just a worn out flasher..

That may be the high beam over ride

Do you have a model number?

You my also have the trigger wire and +12v crossed as well but won't know until we get a model number

im looking at various models of S O S flashers, i dont see the model listed... might contact them directly but heres what "most" of them show...

Blue driver side
yellow passenger side
white is to +12v fused constant (battery)
red is activation switch
green is ground
black goes to parking light wire

BLACK WIRE (OPTIONAL Connection): If an “Automatic Nighttime Flasher disable” is required (check with state and municipal regulations) simply ‘T’ or tap this wire into the parking / marker light wire. This feature will disable the flasher whenever the parking / marker lights are turned on
