First impressions of the light were its very well built and sturdy. It was a little heavier than i anticipated, more then likely because of the metal heat sink on the back of the light. The light itself is very thin and easy to hide because of its small size. The straps for the light are very large and should fit any visor very easily and secure well. I also like the cord that Soundoff used because its very small in diameter and very easy to manipulate. I was able to hide the wire very easily in the door jam because of its small size and length (12 ft). One thing i noticed is the on/off switch is located on the light itself other then the cigar plug making it a little more difficult to turn on but not a big deal. If you intend on hard wiring the light it obviously won't be an issue. The light is very bright and punches through the factory tint very easily. The TIR optics provide a very good straight on punch but starts to diminish some on angles. But overall for a TIR light the side visibility isn't bad at all. This light is going to be used in the only manner this light can be used, on the passenger visor as a primary warning light. This is really the only way this light can be used unless its used in the rear window.
