One of my finds at the Recent Spring Melt Fireshow 2024. Came across this early on, came back before I left and grabbed it.
AeroDynic 25EAH. Fairly unusual bar, these did not see production very long as this was transitioning into eventually becoming the ADL series of bars.

Overall VG shape, domes need some TLC and a dab of Silicone. A few lamps out and a bad flasher (of course) nothing a clean and lube won't fix.

Department removed the forward facing alley mirrors but left the rear in place. Motor reads 9/1988 and SAE is 88 fairly good guess 1988 bar.

Probably end up on the market at some point, other bars to go through..

Took a day off and started tinkering with this one..

Long story short, I still don't understand why people make certain decisions at least this one can be reversed. I think the domes will probably be what takes the longest after I fix the wiring and clean it up.

I've got the mechanical and interior issues resolved for the most part.
I am playing with flash patterns, and I totally get why the previous departments deleted the forward alley bulkhead mirrors. I am putting par36 gels on the endlamps since they are clear on the domes, colors may change depending on what I decide to do in the end.

I am wiring it up to flash the alleys, and the 537 thermal is doing what thermal flashers do.. uneven flashes ahead!

Here are examples of the "official" patterns. It's fun to play with but you can easily snap gears if you aren't careful. Leaning towards any one pattern?

@JohnMarcson Great question, I was eyeing either the standard Safe pattern, or just inside out or some variation. I goofed my gear settings because I jotted them down wrong and got a wonky burst type flash which is kinda growing on me.

I like the 'burst' patterns, where the lights either flash out from the centre or flash toward the centre.

Hi,

I had an all rotator model 25 for a while on my personal truck which I set to run from the outside inwards. I also put a quartz halogen bulbs on the two outside rotators. That was mainly to give more light out the ends ala the way the PAR-36 rotators did. That also gave somewhat of a two level light output effect which I was rather fond of.

I traded that model 25 for a TwinSonic to redo into a CTS for a mid 70's Dodge rescue truck back in 1990 or so. In case anyone misses what I was building as the rescue company captain, it was a clone of the Squad used in the TV show Emergency!.... :)

Anyway, that was my last AeroDynic bar (I had once had a 24X some years prior to the 25) until the 25 RWLI-2B I recently acquired from another member here which I am working on to go back onto a personal truck. I rather like the AeroDynics more than anything else. Although, I wish I still had that 24x. The PAR-36 lamps the most. But that 25 RWLI-2B will do what I need just fine.
