I have a SS2000sm and trying to hook up a STL 6 head r/b w/amber direction signal. My unit was bought online and works and has a button already programmed for direction bar (click once for left, click again for right, click again for center out, click again for off). I found that there is a plug for a signal master but I don't get results from it. any suggestions? Would a reprogram fix anything? Thanks in advance!!

Smart Siren SM controls are negative switched, while nearly all lightsticks are positive. So your stick is just getting grounded, and obviously isn't lighting up. Your options are: re-wire the stick to be negative switched, using 6 relays, getting a new controller, or getting a new stick.

The STL bar probably has a built-in controller, which would mean you don't need the SignalMaster controller. You can use the switched auxiliary outputs of the SS2000 to control the directional bar.

Thank you!! I'll just use one two of the aux. Different question...The sirens will only work with the switch in position 3. is software and "convertor box" the only way to change the programing? If so, where can I get the "convertor box" and software?
