Picked these up from a guy last night. Both work and cleaned up pretty well. Figure I'll hang on to them for a while before I decide I want something else and sell them haha

Light came from one their ambulances (photo from St Paul Fire Department Facebook). Unknown which specific one or which unit the Q2B is from.

@tsquale take some 0000 steel wool and some nevr dull to both of those.. and they should clean up nicely.

I'm assuming the 0000 super fine stuff and not the more coarse ones?

0000 is what I used on a relatively tarnished looking Q cone and it worked well. Takes a bit of time and elbow grease (and generates some dust that can't be good for you) but better results than I expected.... Wish I'd taken a before pic to compare results with.

With that said, I am curious if 000 would be a good starting point on heavier tarnish, with a move to 0000 and polish after, similar to wet-sanding domes, so glad you raised question.

By looking at the year of the Ford vans in the photo I'd say they might be equipped with the early PA15A/PA20A sirens (1B/2B, 1C/2C, 1D/2D). Those sirens have the low pitched slow rising wail and yelp tones, and in my opinion they sound best with the CJ184 speaker.
