I finally got myself into the deal. Two weeks ago I had found an ad asking $200 (agreed on $150) for an MX-7000 with one picture. Luckily the follow-up the next day proved worthy!
$150 maybe a bit much for a common find, although I know how CAL spec light bars are seemingly special and being its from an LA sheriff cruiser, It's definitely been a great step in to get a collection going.

A little soapy water clean up and light sanding really helped.

Anyone also happen to know where I can get a two slot plug of this for the Arrowstik controller?

There aren't really any part numbers labeled.

Not sure what you mean by two slot. I believe that connector is associated with the controller that gets ground from a wire hanging out of a square hole in the back and it gets power through that 7 pin connector. Lemme snap some pics of one of mine and see if it helps...

Okay, if it helps, I believe you have a "deluxe" control box. That 2-pin connector should be an output that is controlled by the "aux" button on the front of the unit.

I think you paid a decent price and you've already made the bar shine! It may not be an unusual bar, but it has significance for you and it is definitely a classic bar. It's a great start for you! :)

The reason I ask is because most California agencies have some sort of asset tag on their equipment. Not trying to be argumentative.

Look under one of the outboard domes. This is the only place I have ever found a factory tag on an MX7000:
