We're in the middle of remodeling our station, and are building bunk areas for when we decide to stay up here at night, and we'd like to add an alerting system for when the tones go off. The usual stuff that others would like, a little bell that goes off, maybe a small beacon, and of course to automatically turn the lights on. Using an amplified Minitor 5 base, what would be the easiest way to go about this?

A quick search on station alerting yields a bunch of threads:

As you can see, there are MANY threads on this forum, as well as lots of info on batboard.batlabs.com. In short though, if you have something that can provide a contact closure when receiving a call (mobile radio, minitor base, etc), the possibilities on ENDLESS.
