The city I went to college is recently got 2 Mustang GT's for traffic cars. Steeda apparently opened a shop in town recently and modified one or both of them for free (number changes depending on the source). I could not post the pics due to the photographer having them copyrighted, but below is the link.

I am very surprised the city did this. For patrol, they use only CVPI's, with supervisors getting Expeditions. The cars are set up with very minimal lighting; 8 head Edge or, recently, 8 head Liberty and that's it. Expeditions get 2 TIR3's mounted to the roof behind the rear glass and 2 what appear to be slim-misers (gen 1 led's) in the front grill. Only traffic cars have RADAR and most GP cars don't even have camera's. The thing that I think is the oddest is the GT package since they have a strict no-chase policy. It's been almost 2 years since I lived there, so things may have changed, but it would surprise me. The SO and even the college is the opposite. They have nicely lit up cars (both have mixes of CVPIs and Chargers) and go by 'you run, we chase'.
Note: please do not that this as me knocking the department. They are very professional and all officers I interacted with with very nice and on the ball. I was simply saying why I find it strange they were able to get these cars.
