Has anyone tried one of these antennas? My current 1/4 wave whip with spring is hitting and hanging on my garage door hard and was thinking about trying one of these out. Thanks

Had them for several years, not that much of a difference of reception. They do work well in garages and low clearance structures, but after time the other jacket will get nicked and damaged, but nothing too terrible.

Of you're in a cold environment, on very cold days they will bend in the direction of the wind and then will retain shape until it warms up.

I received this antenna and it works excellent coming in and out of the garage. No difference in coverage it seems. I recommend it if anyone is looking for one.
