I have a Signal Stat 374 beacon build date of August 1977. It had a Stratolite 80 dome on it when I got it and it has a small crack across the top. Displays well, but...well you know.. So I bought a brand new Stratolite 80 dome this week and it arrived today. It will not fit on this light. Seems maybe 1/16 or so too small in diameter. I have a tried 2 other Stratolite 80 domes I have on other lights that are older and they do not fit either. Anyone have this kind of issue? The dome that is on the light does not appear to have been altered in any way. Any suggestions? I don't want to file the inside of the dome and I don't want to bend the lip of the 374 unless I just have to.

Anyone have a Signal Stat 374 dome in Red or Clear they want to trade for a brand spanking new red Stratolite 80 dome?

There are half a dozen new red Signal Stat 375 domes on eBay. All are overpriced, but here’s one auction that you may be interested in bidding on
