SVP SA-400-73 Installation Manual with Schematics and Parts Lits

Hi,

Does anyone remember the SVP SA-400 series of sirens?
I was hoping that someone may have a copy of the old Southern VP (SVP) SA-400-73 Installation and Service Manual for the SA-400-73 Siren?
I need the servicing notes, schematics and parts lists please - and the specs from the front page?

Many years past Southern VP (then Signal Vehicle Products) down in Florida used to market a range of Sirens made by Carson Mfg. I did contact Carson but, they don't offer customer support - rather buy a new siren or get lost. (SVP were great to deal with.)

The SA-400-73 I'm trying to repair is wanted for a vintage Fire Engine restoration project - so a new siren isn't really wanted.

I presume that you're looking for something much older, however.

Did you contact Kent who repairs sirens on here?

Are you thinking of the SA400 with the two big black knobs and the red square button in the middle? I remember those. The local ambulance service started using them in the early 1980s. They have a fast low pitched wail tone and the yelp tone sound like a 1960s Federal PA15/PA20.

There is also the SA400 with a rotary selector knob on one side and a small round manual siren button. I think that one came out in the late 1980s and it has high-pitched wail and yelp tones like a 1970s Federal PA15A/PA20A. The Carson SA400 Classic is similar.

Thanks for your feedback but I'm after the original SVP "Southern Vehicle Products" Installation publication that had the schematic and parts list in the back for the SA-400-73 model. (I used to have a copy of that original manual 20 yrs back)

It seems when SVP got swallowed up by Star and they parted company with Carson Mfg OEM'ing their sirens, all this information became unobtainable.
