Talladega temporary lightbars

Hey guys, I was at the races in Talladega this weekend and noticed a lot of late model vehicles with fairly old Edges on them. They also have the speaker that mounts in the center. I thought this was very odd so I investigated further.  <_<  Turns out they they use magnets to temporarily mount them to loaner vehicles that they use during the races. The whole bar is switched through a single toggle mounted to various Whelen sirens that they use in conjunction with the lightbar. Some were all blue and some were all clear lenses. They were all in really great shape but they only get a few days' use each year so that must be why. Just though I'd share- enjoy!

I also thought the promotional "Lightbars by Whelen" on the center blank spot was really cool. Too bad they don't still do that, I've seen some older straps with the same logo on them.

Nice, reminds me of the City storage yard in Sumiton, AL, only with clean lightbars and not having to cut the damn things off the roof.  (cough)
