Texas Correctional Officers Christopher Davis & Eligio Garcia die in bus vs train crash

Texas Correctional Officers Christopher Davis and Eligio Garcia, along with 8 prisoners, died in a crash today ( 01/14/2015), when the bus they were in slid off an icy highway overpass onto a railroad track below and were struck by a train, near Penwell, TX (16 miles SW of Odessa).

The chain bus, which was placed in service this past July, slide on an icy patch on an overpass. The bus then went over the rail, and landed onto of two box cars at the end of the train.
