Well the two Federal 175's have arrived. In much better shape than I had expected. A couple of broken domes and bulbs is all that is wrong. These things run like they are new !! They were headed to a chipper, can you believe it? Anyone have a good deal on a couple of clear domes?

I also received the Mars 888. Will be messing with it later

They showed up way better than I thought they would, especially after seeing the state of them on the truck. The new domes shouldn't be too difficult to find, fortunately. I think these will clean up to become another outstanding piece for your collection. Can't wait to see the 888 in action!

I was able to get two replacement domes. One is NOS and the other needs some buffing and polishing but should look great as well. Here is the NOS.

Plastic. I imagine a clear glass one is very hard to find and probably very hard to afford as well. Plastic is going through the roof on prices now. What year is yours?

I don't know what year it was made but it has the original glass Dome I don't know if that helps

Yep, can tell you how to date it. The last numbers will be the year, the letter before the year is the month. Mine are 2R15B71P It was made in Feb. 1971
