Scored some free bars from a local agency today.
13 Whelen Libbys of various generations/colors.
2 Fedsig Vector bars amber/whi.

Couple of the libbys will be cleaned up and donated, the rest will eventually be up for sale coming soon.

Haven't torn into them yet. I highly doubt it though. These came off of a fleet of law enforcement vehicles with the traditional red/drvr, blue/pass set ups. If I find one I would have no use for it anyway. Will PM you if one is.

Got the libertys sorted today. 8SX LC bars and 5SW wecan bars w/o modules. All have feet and strap kits with 12-16ft of cables. Debating whether to even mess with the wecan bars or not.

WeCan is fun to burn up time with creating terrible patterns on the software and seeing them in action

Yeah. I found the other threads with some demo patterns. Meh. Think I'll pilfer and pirate parts (heads, led td/alleys, domes) and sell off the WC boards. Me and my dept have no use for them.

Definitely will use some of the SX bars. Will be doing the super secret sync mode on them fo' sho'.

I do have a feniex flasher laying around so maybe a frankenbar will be in order.

I'm in process of testing today. Sorting wheat from chaff. These wecan bars are new to me. There is an entire open bank that says flashers. Is that for a duo TA?

Sweet. I just got through the LC bars. One is a first gen that has full amber rear w separate 9 lead TA cable. All the others are r/b f/r w/2wire TA. All MR alley and halo TD. 2 have an alley out. Starting on the WC bars after lunch. Those have led td/alley's.

You might be able to make it work as a duo.
All the pdfs I found require the "break out box". Only like $20-30 each but no use for them with our equipment. I'll hafta test each WC head individually I guess.

Made it through the WCs. No issues with any heads, just cant test boards. All bars made between '06-'14.

SX and WeCan are mutually exclusive. The photo shows a WeCan I/O board. The label text abbreviates WeCan, WC.

All the SX frames had LC boards and all the SW frames had WC boards. Buuuuttt....the SW frames were all labeled sw8rrrr or sw8bbbb and all are half red half blue. I'm guessing they were a mass order and the local installer swapped parts around.

Another dept member (and county employee) was in the shop where these came from and found 2 wecan modules. Testing them out soon.

Well since covid kicked in I've had time to play with these. My dad (retired) has offered to clean up ALL of the lenses since he's stuck at home. I tested the 2 wecan modules I have and everything is all good. Hopefully I'll get these up for sale after the mess is over

Part 1......got the haul today. 19 MX7K bars, 1 S&W bar (missing blue dome, rare!), another libby and 2 beacon ray plastic domes.

Thanks. The SW bar went to my dad. Hes been hunting one for years. These all came from the agency he retired from. His first patrol car had an SW bar.

There's a couple of parts bars for sure. 15 of 18 are complete including full cables, feet and strap kits. Standard setup clear outers with r/b filters and amber 6 head arrows.

you dont happen to have any of the LR11 leds do you for the liberty? and maybe some lin 12 corners? need the reflectors for my amber boards to go into my stock reflectors got some chrome missing

Got a call today that they are finally tearing down the county garage (2 years in the making). Originally got call from the gear guy that he found my dad's old arson investigator fire helmet from the 80s (LAFD style Carins). While there he asked if I wanted some more bars he found. I mean...I couldn't say no....left with 14 C3 supervisors of various models 2 split SOS bars, 2 libbys a C3 2100, an sos 5mm style bar and the cou de gras....a rontan winglux clear dome r/b.

Had to drive a bit for this one. Traded some bars for bars. Scored a 6ft MX7K with center TCL (onece hailed by C3 as the king of lightbars), C3 defender (never messed with one), an edge, and and unk bar that looks like a Whelen liberty knock off? I'll post a thread asking for info on it.
