UHP Charger bang-up but still working

Utah Highway Patrol has had a horrible past few years with people running into the back of them (mostly idiot drivers driving too fast for conditions) but this time, this trooper was putting his Charger to good use, trying to stop a wrong way driver on a highway. He was unable to stop the little Ford Ranger, but was a noteworthy cause none the less. note the Grill lights on this unmarked unit still flashing away after the front end is banged up

I was more pleased with the fact that a Captain was out in the thick of it instead of sitting behind a desk shuffling papers.

Not just in the thick of it , but was also on a DWI stop at the time of the incident.....great to see a working Captain out there.
