Unique use question

I have a sailboat and I am looking at installing a set of spreader lights, while browsing one of the many emergency light provider sites I came up with the idea of using body mounted LEDs.

My question is this, which LED would be recommended for use at a height of about 10-11 ft above the deck? I will be using clear and it will be used in the steady mode. These lights are used at night when needing to perform work on deck. Any suggestions would be appreciated while I research this idea.

Thanks

J
