Unitrol 480K Manual/Horn Ring Upper Switch Wiring Help

Hello, I recently bought a Unitrol 480K and I have been trying to figure out some stuff with the top switches. All the 12 pin connectors from the system were cut leaving just the controller to amp 3 pin connector, everything else is loose wires or cut all the way down. The internal connections are all fine but recently I noticed that the black switch on the top controls of the system wasn't activating the manual/horn ring function. It has the main internal 2 pin wiring harness connecting the top switches to the main controller which appears to look fine. At some point when I was testing random wires on the system, the black momentary switch started to activate the manual/horn ring function out of nowhere as it should, but then stopped. I also noticed the 5 yellow wires coming from the black switch labeled BUL, BL, BUX, PUSH 1, and BLX, which I don't recall ever doing anything in the first place, especially I got it to work that one time. Any information will be much appreciated to help fix this problem!
