Hello all! I’m posting here to ask for help. One of my 80k amplifier did has gone dead. When I hook it up to power it doesn’t work. My 480k controller doesn’t show a siren is connected even though I connected both power and cable to the amplifier. Any ideas what causes this?

Try testing the 80K by wiring it directly: power to the red and black wires, then apply +12V to pin 7 (wail).
I haven't been able to reply for awhile. I put everything to power then put a wire to pin 7. Nothing. There is no sound coming out of it.

Assuming the fuse is good, it sounds like the problem is in the amp. Message me if you're interested in getting it fixed.

Those 80K amps are a dime a dozen. I'd find another one and try it again. It never hurts to have a back up just in case.
