A new 80k has a 12 conductor Amp connector with a lighter blue wire- but I'm talking about the dark blue that comes out of the grommet with power, Alarm and some other wires. I have the Install Manual- but no mention of what this dark blue does and its not in the diagram. Anyone know? Gracias!

which wire is the alarm one? the install manual is useless when it comes to which wire is for which and I can't determine which one is for the alarm.

Yellow- says "Alarm" on it.

Yeah, the amps I have, let's just say they're used, and you can't really read the writing. But, who cares what it looks like, it's going behind some plastic never to be seen. It's what it sounds like that matters!!! :lol:

I'll have to go back and test, but I didn't get alarm out of either yellow wire when pos or neg was applied.

Here's what my 80 K install manual says, and the way I wired it. Believe the dark blue gives two-tone (high-low) selection instead of hyper-yelp! :)

CHOICE of SOUNDS

1. See Standard & Optional Features and make connections

to match choice.

Choice #1: Connect ORANGE wire to terminal

#3; WHT/RED wire to terminal #6.

Choice #2: Connect BLUE wire to terminal #3;

ORANGE wire to terminal #6.
