Upper Glass Traffic Arrow for Charger

It's time to start speccing out lights for our incoming Chargers. What I'd like to do is run a SOS NForce on the rear deck for red/blue. I'd like to run an amber traffic arrow along the top of the glass to get some separation between the levels of light.

In the past, this was a no-go with the Charger due to the angle of the rear glass and intrusion of the lights into the prisoner transport area. With the rise of BluePrint and MPowers, I wanted to revisit this idea. I was thinking that 8 amber MPowers mounted to the headliner would make a passable traffic arrow.

I was wondering if anyone's played around with MPowers along the top glass of a Charger. If so, what mount (quick, stud, screw) did you use and did you have to make a bracket to make this happen?

Have you considered just getting a dual color nForce Traffic Adviser? Mount it top or bottom, then have it do whatever you want, all 3 colors for warning, Amber for TA, whatever you want.

I feel like both upper and lowers would significantly limit rear visibility in a car that already sucks in that arena. Not to mention the mpower lights are quickly approaching outdated, and are significantly out-performed by the nForce. You could always use single nForce modules, but at between 100-200 a piece, you're looking at 800-1600 just for a TA, and a lot of wiring work.

Personally, on my new cars (Explorers but same theory applies), I'm going with a dual color TA at the top of the rear window, two dual color nForce modules mounted near the license plate, and then a taillight flasher/HAW that my up-fitter provides. It won't be as bright as a full bar of course, but the new nForce modules aren't exactly dim.

I’d put the warning stick on the rear deck b/c the charger windows are relatively small IMO and (as a tall person) I’d hate having stuff in the upper headliner of an already limited visibility window. HOWEVER, I know that you can replace the 3rd brake light in the rear headliner with a pair of multicolor fusions (you can wire it to still do brake light but also flash warning colors)....that’ll give you a clean looking option for upper level warning without sacrificing visibility on the headliner. That way, you’d have your multiple levels of warning: headliner, rear deck, and LP area (in addition to the brake light flasher)
