I found this goldmine the other day while looking online for a Signal Stat catalogue. It's an archive of the US patents for several beacons and lightbars. The posted link is to the Dashlaser, but if you look through the "Referenced Patents" sections, you'll see a ton of stuff for Fed Sig, Whelen, Dietz and several others. The patents are simply beautiful; full of very detailed schematics and drawings, as well as equally detailed descriptions of the components and functioning of the equipment. It's reading that you can really lose yourself in. Wonderful, wonderful stuff!
