I am considering getting this, however would like to clarify how this unit operates.

When using this controlling a siren, would I need to turn one tone off, before i could turn another on?

Example: One button Wail, One Yelp. Could I hit the wail button for wail, then hit the yelp button and have it change to yelp, or would I have to turn wail off, then turn yelp on?

If you're using a Storm Pro Siren unit it has priority tones. So you can setup wail on tone 1 input and yelp on tone 2. A higher number activated input overrides an activated lower one. You would not have to turn off wail to switch to yelp.

But that only works for that particular siren otherwise yes it would have to be turned off to turn another tone on (depending on make of siren)
