Saw this whilst browsing the Instagram. Old Aurora police cruiser with an interesting highriser setup

Cool. I'm guessing "aerodynamic" and "lightweight" didn't enter into the design spec.

A lot of the Denver metro area agencies still have that setup (but with newer LED bars). The City of Denver runs those with Whelen Freedom bars. They have a California steady red thing going on their highway rigs.

Wonder where they source the mounts? Look very similar to Command Light brand of bases.

DPD has been using them for as long as I can remember, so that would be well back into the 90s.
