Seems to me this was previously posted as a 1984 Yankee catalog. Many of these pictures are in my 1986 Dietz catalog.

John,
Thanks for separating the catalogs by manufacturer! Great help for research!!

Stan,
Yankee and Deitz bars were identical in the mid 80s. The only difference I know of is Dietz offered two rotators with a forward facing "V" mirror (different fpm rates were offered as well). Jefferson County PD (Louisville, KY) used them on their cars and EMS vehicles.

1971 Yankee Catalog. Looks like emergency lighting was something they were just getting into. Didn't even have the 1166 teardrop lights yet. Most of this edition of their catalog was side-view mirrors.

The 358 was actually a rebadged Dietz 246. They were modeled after the Federal Vitalite Model 121, which came out in 1962. Dietz marketed a rebadged Vitalite 121 as Dietz Model 245M. Dietz then made their own version using the reshaped dome and a couple of variations of internals, Model 246M. One of the internal variations was virtually identical to the Vitalite's internals. So, Federal 121 in 1962, then Dietz 245, then Dietz 246, then Yankee 358 in the timeline.
