Vintage Electro-Mechanical Siren

Vintage ??possible?? Federal Signal electro-mechanical siren. I was unable to get it to work. I used every electronic tool in my toolbox and could not get anywhere with it. But I admit that I was a novice when I started this collection, so I feel confident that the right person out there will make this sing.

That's a Federal EG or WG siren. Judging from the wiring, probably a 6-volt. Do you still have it?
