Okay. I have a serious question oO(shouldn't have started with that...) I digress. What exactly constitutes "Vintage" for lights. I mean as I am perusing some of the ads on various sites, and I see lights that I used in 90-ninety... Okay I just dated myself a little. Wow! Really 25+ years... Alright, never mind... (Someone, next post, NEXT POST!!!)

A reason for the common use of “vintage” in ebay listings is due to their policy of banning sales of current day emergency lights (to reduce the possibility of misuse). Though I have yet to understand how this policy is enforced (very inconsistently), saying a light is “vintage” is in theory a way of saying to ebay that the light being sold is old and atypical of anything currently in use, is a collectible, and therefore does not violate their policy on emergency light sales.

Same deal with light dome, colored lenses, and later model LED dash lights. Some dealers will mention R/B, etc, or show the model # which often includes the color letter. Some you just have to message. Probably why I'm not finding Fire Beam or Dash Laser full or half covers in clear or red except rarely.
