Our primary PSAP is under renovation so we are operating out of the back up PSAP in the basement of our court house (built circa 1988).
In this basement is a high water alarm...since it's in the 911 center, an audible alarm is no bueno. Their solution back in the day was this... mount a Rotabeam 24v to the ceiling. Still works today.

That's a good one! When nobody is looking you could pull it down and put it in your collection.

They made a version meant to be mounted into an electrical box, both in 120vac and dc voltage. Both warn they are not to be used as fire alarms. I assume the regular model beacon was cheaper. Cool find.

Probably worth more than any of the 1980's consoles.
Motorola centracom series 2, you're probably correct, ha ha.

Tempting...but there's 2 cameras...lol.

I've only ever seen it activate one time. The new kids thought it was a disco ball....
