Hi, I'm new to WeCan-programming.

I'll have an older Whelen Liberty 2 WC coming in in a few weeks.
I've messed around in the WeCan-program to some degree, but I have some questions.

How can I program the modules to have cruise in the backround, and flash at higher intensity. So that the modules are never completly off. Or perhaps alternate the two, in for example action flash, one side is at cruise intensity, while the other side is lit up.
Or maybe just the corners, hope you get my idea. And will all this be within the same input (Will be using Control Point), or can I use a second input to turn on/off the "backround" cruise lights while the flashpattern is active.

And I still can't quite figure out what the pattern override will do. What's the difference between pattern override, and making a higher priority on that given input?

You can use multiple inputs. On your “cruise” input, select your lightheads, and “enable cruise.” On a second input, select your lightheads and assign the flash pattern. They will flash over the cruise. The flash pattern will not turn off the cruise.

Pattern override; pattern override will flash the override pattern, only if the lightheads are already on. If they are not already on, the pattern override will do nothing. If you have a newer control point, use command, and avoid using pattern override, use events.

Thank you so much.
Another thing I'm wondering about, that you may know:
Can I use a WeCanX control head directly onto the lightbar, instead of the WC control point module. And still have full programmabilities in command software? For example the CCP9 or CCTL9.
In the CenCom Core brochure I see it says control system for CCP9, and control head for CCTL9.
What's the easiest for me when i only want to control my lightbar, but want full program-possibilities.
The bar is 2016 model, and if it works with WCX control unit, does i get features like DVI to work on the lightbar?

The CCTL9 would require you to purchase the Cencom Core control system, CCTL9 is just the keypad, not the brain. The CCP9 is an all in one unit. It has no capabilities for any siren, siren amp, or vehicle Canbus integration, but it can control up to 10 WCX devices, so if you dont need a siren, it should fulfill any lighting or other control needs now and in the future. As far as your lightbar, if that is WC, and not WCX, it has the same limitations as running it on an older system. You cannot program true DVI, and it will not truly sync. There are a few work arounds, if you have some knowledge, and time on your hands.
