What am I missing??

Ok, I know i am new to the hobby but can someone explain to me why the price on this 176 is over $400, Is there something odd about them or what? Like i said i am new and pretty much clueless! I don't mean to step on anyones toes but i am curious.

That's pretty expensive nowadays.


But...4 or 5 years ago, that was a fair price.


I used to get that on ebay all the time. Even sold a few 174's for over $600.00. Sold more than one restored CTS for $700.00.


The Vintage lighting marked definately fluctuates.

Prices are wacky on ebay..... that's if your item makes it until the end of auction.... I saw a newer but used 888 go for $375...and an old black label one go for $85.

Its the same two guys bidding on it. Prolly a buddy of his bidding it up and like a doop the other guy doesnt want to loose it.

Or two people who really want the item.

If the guy had other auctions up, I'd check it against the bid history on sold items, but nope.

just look at the times, bidder #29 is bidding against himself.

You can always increase your max bid by bidding again... that's what that person did... the whole thing is fishy though.
