Good morning friends.
I found pics of maybe British SEG vehicles. I saw the little light near the interior mirror. What is that brand of light ? Steady light or flashing ?
Thank you.

And any ideas on the square blue light from the original photos not the deck blaster on the second set????
No clue...but any time I have seen them IRL the ones up high on the window for the past few years have been steady burn...and the mess of lights in the grilles are all that flashes. usually they are linear style though. This one almost seems like he added it himself...

One thing I did see there a few times on royals cars was the wing mirrors...have blue flashing in them where the turn signals usually are. They get pretty creative over there with the lights and hiding them.

The SEG guys, and the UK law enforcement in general, get pretty touchy when people get too nosy about their equipment. Fun fact, SEG motorcycles do not have sirens. They only use whistles...and they are armed...

Heres a clearer shot of whatever that is on the visor.

So the bikes whistle as they go by. hmmmm that's gotta be an Interesting sound. That does look like a cheap easy light to affix

Yea. They have a different approach to VIP escorts compared to the US. They do them in a way that is more low-key and the least amount of disturbance to other road users where USSS tends to block off all roads everywhere...and has these massive motorcades.

Isn't that because we are more prone to shooting politicians who deserve it??? Or just because they want to feel like kings of the road?? Lol hmmm that might not be either answer but in this world who knows what would happen

In france, politicians have unmarked vehicle and police motorbike escort with whistle and siren.

A lot of people have siren and light on they car in Paris, diplomatic vehicles, politicians, Big CEO etc

What is funny, officials vehicles have better lights than normal emergency vehicles.

I think they are just trying to ensure the light will stay on the vehicle at speed. I generally use rubber covered 90# pull magnets to keep lights in place, never lost a bar or light yet!

I think the US politicians are simply more arrogant...?

Seriously though...both styles work. US is all about excess. Just look at the emergency lights ALL OVER our cars here vs EU...for "safety" but EU headlights and tailights are illegal here. Why? Because they are much more effective...and safe...
