what speaker do you think is best for a 2011 silverado?

im just wondering if any company makes a bracket for a 2011 silverado 1500, i have sa315's and dynamax's in stock, but if i can find a speaker with a specific bracket, i prefer to go that route.......

Go with the Whelen SA-315's. I actually prefer the older SA-314 model if you have any available to you. I have had alot of bad luck with Dynamax speakers burning out quickly.

i def agree on the dynamax's with problems...... and i did notice whelen just updated there site recently to add the silverado to the list, i found the part # for the bracket !!! thanks !!

ive had dual dynamax es100 for a year with no problems other than the paint fading after about 8 months at which time i just repainted and clear coated.


ive installed ES100 on silverados using the universal bracket.

thanks for the info, but i decided to srap the idea, i was going to use a hhs2200 to control the lights with the siren tones disabled, and use it just as a PA, but i am designing a custom switch for the truck instead.

I have a 2011 Sierra (same truck but gmc) and I mounted the speaker behind the grill..There is a cross member that I bolted the universal bracket to for the whelen sa315p
