I have a Whelen power supply model 2x6. I am having probelms finding any literature on the wiring.

Does anyone know the schematics?

Would this be a practical add on to an older Edge bar with a conventional 4 output power supply so it could have 10 strobes?

Thanks

How many wires are coming out of it? Eight?

I think it was...

Red = Positive (fused 15 amp)

Black = Negative

Blue = Strobe activation (+)

Green = Strobe activation (+)

Grey = Strobe Activation (+)

Violet = Low Power (to ground possibly)

White = Pattern Selection (+)

Brown = Pattern Selection (+)

I might be thinking of the EB6 but I'm pretty sure they were wired the same. It's been awhile since I owned either version.

You could use this in the bar as long as you:

(A) Have room to mount the power supply

( B) Have the proper plug and correct wire configuration to plug it into your main relay board.
